These young new homeowners have a kitchen stuck in the 1960s--from yellow and brown tile to an outdated linoleum floor and nasty wallpaper, nothing was quite their style. To create an entertainer's kitchen, a wall is taken out to create more real estate. To add personality, they build custom hanging shelves from walnut plywood and even create a one-of-a-kind honeycomb wine rack to hang on the wall. Plus, custom stools take center stage around an all new island complete with recycled countertops and all-new cabinets. Finally, a funky backsplash and two-tone flooring make this a hip kitchen to cook in! |
