An unwelcoming spa overlooking a cluttered carport and yellowing lawn gets amped up with a yin-yang makeover. A 600 square foot composite deck mimicking tropical hardwood is built around the hot tub to extend the "hang-ability" factor. Host and licensed landscape contractor Ahmed Hassan enhances the view with a hip sheet metal wall which is welded with angular pieces of scrap metal. In the yard, an oversized octagon-shaped fire pit is plunked in the middle of a tranquil garden to give this backyard a chic yet serene style. |
