Anneka was challenged by the UK Blood Transfusion Service to find 100,000 new donors (1 year's supply) in 1 day. 41,000 pledged to give blood on the actual day acrcoss the country. The challenge failed in finding 100,000. After the programme transmitted, a further 31,000 pledged to give blood. |
