Cabrera manages to convince the king of the need for an encounter with Isabel for the good of Castile. The management of Pacheco has led the kingdom to an ungovernable situation in many cities, overwhelmed by the power of men chosen by Pacheco. Oblivious to all this, Isabel prepares to visit her brother Enrique.
