A woman ends up behind bars when the Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department crack a fake death scam that also implicated her own son to cash in on a life insurance policy, while a claim for a lost mobile phone is cut off when investigators discover it's already been reported as stolen. A gang's elaborate attempt to pull off a crash-for-cash scam is scuppered when the entire fraud is captured on CCTV, insurers crack a case involving a claimant with dual identities, and an opportunist's personal injury claim falls at the first hurdle. |
