In the middle of the King's Garden in front of Rosenborg castle, Mette and James prepare food from the renaissance period. For the main course they are creating a pâté from game accompanied by sour cabbage. For dessert they serve figs stuffed with a type of gingerbread and dressed with a caramel sauce. Throughout the program the two hosts delight the viewers with facts about food trends, garden trends, ingredients used, and historical facts about King Christian the 4th who is Denmark's great King of the renaissance period. |
