The first programme sees a race against the clock to relocate two fragile, super-heavy mansions. The 1857 Varsity Hall is an ornate three-storey, 500 tonne masonry monster, it throws up a host of engineering headaches…the walls are weak, the windows are rotting, and an entire wing of the Hall is loose.Will it survive a nail-biting journey downhill intact? Further north in Canada, a family buy a nine-bedroom Victorian mansion. Now they have to move it to their farm. But will their dream home survive a 130 mile journey by land and ocean?
