An Arab convoy, disguised as Americans, traps and captures the Rat Patrol. The convoy's leader, Ned Cunningham, is an embittered American airman and hero turned traitor and gunrunner. He is about to sell Deitrich captured American weapons and equipment. He now sells to the highest bidder from his lavish desert compound, no matter which side. Ned feels that the Rat Patrol is costing him too much business and plans to eliminate them. But he then decides he likes the Patrol and will take them into the deal as partners if they cooperate. In the end, though, his duplicitous behavior causes his own death. |
