A Los Angeles law enforcement officer and his wife face a competitive market with a modest budget while searching for their first home together. Once they decide on a place and renovations begin, they're hit with surprise expenses like needing lead abatement and a new electrical panel. The couple is determined to not let these expenses prevent them from taking on other projects, however, so they're forced to take on some of the work themselves. |
