When they find the first number murdered, Reese enlists Finch and Fusco to help keep the others safe. Unfortunately Finch isn't able to get there in time for the second victim. Reese figures out that the remaining two numbers are foster sisters and manages to rescue them from an attempt on their life. Finch determines that all four seemingly unconnected people met at the scene of a car accident and they did something to make them targets.
