I’m sorry I ruined your beautiful story. ;-P
Dumping, though? Really?? I was making a joke in return… I guess you didn’t get it? I could explain it if you’d like! (I get off on that sort of thing.) See… she published several volumes of very popular BDSM erotica. Thus, “creative control.” haha. get it?
But also, one of those books was the basis for a terrible movie (https://www.primewire.tf/movie/240506-exit-to-eden) where the director completely butchered the story—rewrote the script as a comedy so bad even Dan Aykroyd couldn’t save it. I guess after a thing like that, you get anal about who can touch your stuff.
So yeah: she was born again, disowned her whole Vampire oeuvre, and later died, whereupon her son wrote a terrible pilot that sat undeveloped in a drawer for several years, the rights were sold to a completely different production company, and still her name (and her son) are attached to it.
Incidentally, I don’t believe Zoom supports Ouija boards. You’d probably have to use FaceTime or MS Teams.
You DID ask. :-P
I am aware that she wrote ..uh, less mainstream works but never bothered to read them. And you are correct, I did not see the “joke” in your comment, guess you need to be in that lifestyle (or adjacent) to have clicked on it.
(also, I wasn’t implying you’d use a Ouija board via zoom but you would use it as a zoom alternative, guess we both miss jokes)
