Thanks. TBH, I struggled through the first episode only because of Jude and his character. Bateman’s acting of a cliche-ridden prodigal son character (that may have been more interesting with a better/different actor) just bogs down the story’s pacing. Maybe I’ll revisit this on a cold blistery winter’s day!

I really can not argue with that opinion, however this series is really good and Jude steals the show so you tend to forget about Bateman, even though his character in here is quite dark.

Though this series stars Jude Law and looks and sounds intriguing, I’m going to have to pass because I can’t stand Jason Bateman! He’s so smug, smarmy and a real shitty actor. He plays himself in everything.

What a disappointment

great show! not for the faint hearted, a lot of scummy insincere characters but if you like films like the Insider and Network, and TV series like Damages then you’ll like this. Not for the faint hearted at times, it deals everything from how AWFUL corporate media is, to toxic workplace environments, sexual misconduct and harassment to mental health struggles. the writing and acting is very good and while the show gets its praise I can understand why many networks don’t overhype it or it dosen’t get too much praise because the show holds an ugly mirror to not just corporate media but corporate america and the survival of the fittest nonsense that is capitalism. hehe! do enjoy, you won’t wanna overlook this one

It started way more interesting, than “drag” and “emotional blabbering” it’s turning out further in season it’s got.
Hope it’ll pick up next season or, just wouldn’t bother watching another drama / chick-flick, it’s turning in to no longer
