saw this on TV, won’t provide belly full of laughs but need something somewhat lighthearted you can do worse. both robert deniro and charles Grodin play well, and copaganda aside (ohhh if the people where paid more we wouldn’t be prone to corruption) this is a good film.

I know not many are keen on this version of Poirot, but I like it a lot. Malkovich is great. It’s like Poirot from another universe. It’s raw, dark, very sad and very real (for me). It cannot be compared to Suchet’s performance. They are two different kinds. Both unique.

This is a beautiful film about roots, body, and self image in all stages of life. Vidsrc have it but with no subtitles. I have asked for links, both trough the above link and on the forum. But it can be found with multisubs. I recommend it as a salvage on the soul. The giggling laughs from the naked women in the sauna and their voices talking about deep shit is healing in it self even without text or exact understanding. Living in the north, sisterhood rules for sure.. Not supreme.. But as a base.

But from behind a mask of what really? What is her message to my daughter? Be yourself? I think the statement from such an icon better would be that the folly of spooking up like that end at some age.. Not that it goes to the grave. It is a silly (but fun, in an appropriate dose) thing. She lacks seriousness and some kind of responsibility. She is like the old weak ass, spoiled hero actors that assume more and more control and never gonna let the image of “THEIR” body as a HERO die. Because they are a brand. And can. They are absurd and … comical, sad. Un-understandable from a natural perspective. Sure they are allowed to, and are kind, and so lovely and so on.. but they also are cultural statements that we the people must question and mock. Not holy cows to bend in quietness in front of. She will never hear my words. She have all my love. It is not about her.. It is about you. Us, The nature and where we are going.

I’ve watched all the English speaking versions of this show and this one has been ok so far. It’s not as creepy or as gross as some of the others. I enjoy the Irish accents but not a big fan of the host on this version. I would suggest The Inheritance if you like social engineering games with a twist. It’s been fun so far.

Exactly! Dolly is a Queen and is literally the epitome of a good person. She gives free books to children and gives back to numerous organizations. My favorite thing she’s ever said is, “Good thing I was born a woman, or I’d have been a drag queen.”
