i nearly gave up after ep 2. but continued and im so glad i did, esp after ep 4/5 it really hits its stride. sabrina impacciatore is absolutely amazing. not only unreasonably hilarious but her hair looks so perfect!

There’s supposed to be a 1977 documentary by the same people with the same title but I can’t find it anywhere.

Been a long time since I’ve read the source material, but that turned out better than I expected. Glad it wasn’t too modernized with smart phones and tik toks involved in the story.

I was thinking about something last night. If I had to pick 5 of my favorite movies, what would they be? Three of the 5 were Stephen Kings adaptions. When I worked the overnight board shift at the radio station, (I was there by myself) I would read Stephen King books to keep me awake. When I got to the part where Annie (Kath Bates) uses the electric knife to cut off Paul’s (James Caan), I had to skip that paragraph. When I watched the movie and it came to that scene, I had to turn my head. I’ve read a lot of King’s books, and some screen writers/directors do the book justice. I’ll see how this movie pans out but will wait for a better copy to be uploaded.

Older documentaries such as this are so much more informative for 2 reasons.
They are not influenced by current politics and journalism was more independent in the past unlike todays embedded and institution press pass holding journalists who risk being ostracised should they publish anything contrary to the narrative of said institution.

It amazes me that people are willing to make these docs oblivious to what really happened. This was an inside job and that is not a conspiracy it is the facts.

Could use more character development. Set design was also lacking.

Although I haven’t been a Trek fan for long, I started my binge with DS9 coming from Babylon 5, and am now half way through season 5 of Voyager and planning my next move, not entirely sure if I should skip TOS and go straight into TNG followed by Picard, or if I should skip those two entirely and just move onto Picard to continue Seven’s story line, my point is, I 100% agree with your comment about the F bombs, I can just imagine in the back of my mind Janeway or Cisco dropping Fbombs, and it just wouldn’t fit, not even for someone like Commander Kira or B’Elonna.

throwback sunday? haha… yep it was Doom Patrol! which i just finished cuz i got distracted in life and decided to re-watch so i could watch the last season. i loved these two ( even though the actors are different ) in DP so i finally decided to watch this. had it on my TO WATCH and just kept finding other things.. but i want more already i hate it’s only one season. but so far i really enjoy it too

I’ll do that, TNG after Voyager and I will look up online how to fit the movies in chronologically, does TOS kinda stand on it’s own?

You have to watch TNG before Picard. The films with Jean-Luc Picard as well. 7of9 is one part but the rest are primarily TNG. You need Picard and Data for this to work.

You can follow Spock in TOS, in the “Spock” films and the newer series on a separate path.

A long boring movie. It did address the massive Buffalo kills, but never said how Teddy Roosevelt stopped the hunts by protecting them. I wish Nicholas Cage would stop making stupid movies.
