Havent seen one of these Charlie Brooker shows for ages and this was really entertaining and funny as always. The Nr.1 game they chose in the end is very cynical but definitly something to think about and thts exactly what i love about Brooker. He is funny but deliver so much food for thought. Watch if you are a gamer.

Dexter is streaming on Hulu and comes out in early morning the release date, whereas Resident Alien is broadcast on SyFy, so it airs in the evening of the release date and needs to be edited to take out commercials. I’ve always assumed that accounted for the difference in the time posted between certain shows.

That kid is an amazing actor! Like a pro that has done acting for decades. I’d say she is even Oscar worthy for this performance. If this was filmed in 2024 she was 10 years old.

All the actors did gave a stellar performance in this film.

I have seen zero promotion for this film, but it is a really great movie that I’m glad I found out of the blue tonight.

Met a guy in Houston that had a huge lemon tree in his back yard, and it was loaded with huge lemons. I asked him if I could grab one and he said sure I jumped up to grab one before he could tell me to be careful. I didn’t know that Lemon trees had monster long thorns. I took one straight down the pointer finger and it went so deep that it pulled down the branch until I was back on the ground before it pulled out. As far as how bad it hurt all I will say is when I saw those trees I had a flashback that scared the sh#t out of me.

Isn’t there a few time zones in the USA alone? Also, if a show is on a streaming site then it’s on the site as soon as it’s a new day, where as if it’s on a broadcast then the episode will come out hours later or the next day because the uploader has to sleep. For example, Bob’s Burgers airs in the evening but the person uploading it probably goes to bed at about that time so the episode doesn’t get uploaded until the next morning. Another reason might be that the show airs on a broadcast channel but also airs on a streaming site after the show airs. Getting a show from a streaming site is less work because you wouldn’t need to edit the ads out so that might be a reason for a show to be uploaded late.
All in all, it’s still not a long wait.

Well yeah sure I guess that must be a part of it, but it isn’t a British series or Japanese, and as I understands it there is competing “groups” that release thees show and love to be FIRST 🥳, so how can one show show up more than 24 hour after an other with the same release date? 2 US shows should maybe be mostly 18 hour apart and that is provided that Dexter and Foundation is released in the early morning?? That in it self seam kind of unlikely from an corporate profit standpoint.. So when it has more than 24 hour difference, Dexter e5 01.08.25 06:35, Foundation E04 01.08.25 03:20, Resident Alien 02.08.25 07:20 (earliest episode from this season I saw was released 05:24 a day after the others), all by successfulcrab group released on TBP by the user jaja, why do they have same release dates/day? Natural would be that Resident Alien would have been listed in the schedule as being released Saturdays rather than on Fridays as this is a consistent phenomena. I find it very frustrating! 😫🥺😤🤬😭

Uncut Gems was a banger in 2019, but I love those types of movies but before that I would say Funny people in 2009 or even click 2006 If were talking about great flicks, but all the other movies are great to watch with your family if your not sitting alone by yourself trying to relive the first time you watched Billy Maddison or Happy Gilmore.

Time zones. That is my guess. It might air on the same day but one airs in the morning and the other airs at night or while the uploader is sleeping. I mean there is a 6 hour difference between my area and parts of the UK. That adds up to extra waiting. A day or two is not unreasonable when you think about it like that.
