Eleanor Lambert, daughter of Diane Lane & Highlander Chris Lambert with Farscape’s Claudia Black can’t save this awful flick. Not a slow burn, just poorly paced, written & directed. Editing could’ve saved it - especially if it were just a 30 minute short.
I just don’t get why after being involved in a story for more than an hour the movie immediately erase that story and begin a new one IMO completely useless…
Interesting. Not familiar w/the director’s movies so I can’t offer a perspective on this but I’m intrigued.
I feel sorry for Jeff Speakman, he deserved better than being a one-hit wonder. This being the hit. What an amazing martial arts flick, I wished he continued on that path.

I knew I recognised that logo/font! It’s from the 1984 film “The Dog Who Stopped the War” or as it is known in Quebec, “La Guerre Des Tuques”! May have to give it a try, the original was a childhood CLASSIC!

Wasn’t sure if I was going to like it with the first 20ish minutes of the film but it got better. The movie was alright but I didn’t love it. Didn’t really like the flow and how the story was told. Also a huge thing I just couldn’t get by was the singing. While Egerton has a nice voice, I love Elton’s songs too much to hear them covered by him. I just wanted to hear the real song everytime which ruined my immersion and caused me to lose focus. 6.5/10
Ryan does an awesome job narrating this show. Fantastic photography and information that makes you laugh at times. I passed on this show at first, then it became my latest binge!

A new six-part contemporary drama series, Tommy and Tuppence. Instead of taking place in the 20th century, it will be updated for the modern era. Casting has yet to be confirmed, but Tommy and Tuppence in 2015 were portrayed by David Walliams and Jessica Raine. I hope they are willing to take on this series again. No premiere date is set as of yet, but filming will begin later this year. Should be released in the new year.

ehhhhh not my cup of tea. If you like films like Trainspotting, Human Traffic, and to a degree Skins, you might have a soft spot for this miniseries. But….I don’t know I just didn’t really like Byron/Paris and the other characters. there are some sweet moments and very moving moments but the Self-Destructive behavior and quite self-centered behavior of Byron just really does my head. so enter at your own but I much prefer the first two seasons of Pose to this. Surprising because the real life author Paris Lees and her book who this miniseries is based off, the real life writer I quite like and is a great advocate of her people but….ehhh I just didn’t feel this story.
It’s still a decent show to me, y’all are just big silly little babies sucking on your thumbs going wah wah wah mommy i’m all out of milk and dadddy never came back from the store when he said he went out to get some milk and ciggys 20 years ago. wah wah wah, I think I poo’d myself a little. I didn’t really have a chance to go to the theater in the mid to the late 1980’s. I worked 2 jobs; one overnight and the other was evenings. I never heard of this movie so I will add it to my list, and it sounds good too.
I like spy movies and this has potential since it is near the beginning of WWII.
Since I’m a huge Hitchcock film, I know I have watched it at some point but can’t remember when. I think I need to watch it again.
I’m not a fan of movies/tv shows with subtitles and this one will be in Dutch. It will be released later this year, probably this fall.
