After watching the first episode this show does seem like it’s a really good show to watch.

Good movie. Well made and not a dull moment. Surprised Bernthal had such small parts.

Was it predictable? Was it cliche? Was it low-budget? Yes, yes and yes but it’s still a bad a$$ movie.

Danny Trejo can really do no wrong. This film has a strong 80s feel to it which made it that much more fun to watch.

OMG ! Finally…….I have the junk food all bought…and the big, warm, fluffy blankie for the main event to start !!!! The fire will be roaring and I will be in my element again. I Love this show !

Some of us have no desire to travel the world. I’m a homebody, always have been. I think you are being very judgmental to those of us who had a harder life than you did. I see this a lot with the upper middle class. I went to college, but I had two kids to raise as a single mom and there was no money left to save for retirement. What retirement money I did save I had to spend trying to save my house during our 2008-2010 recession. I lost it anyway. I did everything I was supposed to. I had no idea the father of my children would abandon me for another woman, or that my job would let me go so they could replace me with someone working part time for less money. This is why I don’t judge other people. You would do well to learn that lesson now before it’s too late. Karma is a b1tch.

interesting concept for a movie. Really makes one wonder what is really controlling our lives. Ending could have been more revealing but it was not going that route. 3.5/5 for this one.

It’s not dead yet…

only spoiled rich people can go to a place like Sicily and still complain, piss and moan the entire time. This show is like watching a slightly more fictional version of Siesta Key or Kardashian or Real Housewives. The Aubrey Plaza character funny, she often is my favorite character in movies but here from start to finish she is such a a jaded whiny little bitch! And Theo James who is not a bad actor but this time his American accent sounded totally fake/totally forced. and Researcher was right, why did the writers have to do that with the ending? and all that said the best character who gets the least amount of time and attention has to be Daphne who in real life i’d get a long with, and the best storyline but didn’t get much attention was the Lesbian love storyline which if it was just a movie by itself would be much better then this awful overrated of cocktail show that people are praising

So far, I am enjoying it. Necessary changes due to adapting from book to screen but staying very true where they can.

I stopped watching this years ago but still sad to hear the news. Although the signs of its cancelation were there, it’s still rough to see the show go.

Stay in school n get a good Education. Take a high paying job. Work hard for a good 35 yrs.. for savings & assets. Then retire young and travel the world before your body ages and aches all over. I did all that and am sitting by the beach now in my own home. Have seen the world 3 times. I am peaceful and happy and in great health and just turned 60. We learn too late that life is meant to be lived stress free….and that money cant buy good health. Peace to you all !

My Nixon watch is rated as much better, probably because it’s ‘guts’ are ALL Swiss made, not half Chinese movements like Trumps…and my watch cost $1,500, NOT $10,000 or $100,000, but mine doesn’t diamond chips for glitter. Exactly it’s like they sold us one movie in the trailer and delivered a completely different one. The way it was marketed set us up for something gritty and intense, but instead we got this awkwardly restrained story where the main character barely even owns his arc. And yeah, the fear and hesitation made sense once, but it became repetitive fast. If they leaned into the psychological tension more or gave the revenge angle real weight, it might’ve landed better. Right now, it just felt like a mood piece trying to be a thriller. Shame, really.

Now I just go work in my garden or run errands very early every day to avoid the heat, and sit inside in the a/c the rest of the time, doomscrolling on Google News and YouTube, watching free tv and movies here. people honestly like this? pfff! give me Siesta Key anyday. The Steve Zahn character is an awful terrible person, the guy the Alexandra Daddario character is married to, also a terrible person with his awful FUGLY mother, and I can’t stand the character played by the actress who was in legally blonde and stifler’s mom whose deep alcoholism is sooo annoying and even watching her in season two, that character should’ve never been written. the Sydney Sweeney character is also a terrible person who exploits her friend and every time her friend finds a guy she likes or her own piece of happiness she sabotages it or steals something. bassically all the characters except the Alexandra Daddario are TERRIBLE PEOPLE and the only one who experiences any positive growth is the Steve Zahn’s son/Sydney Sweeney character’s brother but the rest are insufferable assholes. And I find it hilarious the Jennifer Coolidge character, anyone with half a brain can see she’s an alcoholic and has deep seated mental health problems that needs help and yet the Black woman in the show think she’s her key to opening up her buisness when she can barely put two and two together? seriously how do people like this show? and god haaate that the Alexandra Daddario stays with her turd husband instead of having self-respect and rightly leaving him.

I’m all for getting the gangs and criminals out of the country, but he’s not doing that. He’s going for the low-hanging fruit, people who are here legally and doing what they are supposed to do. He has his ICE goons hanging out at courts and when LEGAL immigrants turn up for their court hearings, the judges dismiss their cases (they can’t be deported if they have an open case) and they are arrested when they step outside by masked men with ICE badges velcroed onto their jackets and sent to God knows where. That isn’t love of country, sweetie. That’s hatred of anyone brown skinned. He also hates “weak” people, so he’s going after the social security and medical care for the elderly and disabled. I don’t know if I’m going to have health care if this new bill passes the senate. Disabled people are already losing their payments, being thrown out on the streets because they can’t afford to pay rent anywhere. This is one-step away from becoming Nazi Germany, and it’s terrifying. My gardening, like your pottery, keeps me sane, but if I lose my health care, I’ll die soon anyway, so it won’t matter.
Stay warm and hang in there. This too shall pass. The universe has a way of righting itself eventually, even if it has to wipe all of us off the face of the earth to do so.

I liked it as well - yes, I was shocked when I went to watch it and saw it was an hour and a half! I thought the same - the story was a bit thin for such a long running time - good acting and good characters though… a bit like the Murdoch Mysteries (again, too long a running time for the stories).
