Knowing how Gladys’ story ended in real life just makes this sadder. I almost hope they forget history and don’t give her the same ending here.

This film is NOT A THRILLER. I don’t know how tagged that. but an interesting little Mexican indie flick. If you like that overrated series “the Bear”, whatever reality show with Gordon Ramsey and your a leftist who rails at the horrible state of affairs then you’ll like this “slice of life”, day in the life, everyday drama sort of film. probably won’t save this for a rainy day and i’m tired of the “there is no hope” messages that have overpopulated cinema, plays, and TV series but …yeah its worth watching but go find a good comedy afterwards even if you gotta rewatch there’s something about mary or american pie.

Well, this sounds interesting! Sam Neill and Eric Bana will star in this new series. It has vibes of shows like Yellowstone, True Detective, and Ozark.

Has anyone else gotten a ‘Brokeback Mountain’ vibe from the series? I mean, I haven’t seen two men get so emotional and hug as much as during the episodes of this show. Not that it matters, but it does seem to change the tone of this trip compared to the others.

This fast paced, “edge of your seat” drama as well as Susan Dey and Harry Hamlin’s mesmerizing performances should have been nominated for 2002 Oscars!!! No other film has left me feeling so weak and weepy after viewing it like this one! Damn you Hollywood - damn you to hell!

I recall seeing an interview w/John before he made this documentary about finding Vivian’s photos. It was fascinating. I’m so glad you commented & brought the doc to my attention since I had forgotten about it. I look forward to watching it.

Very intriguing doc.
I believe some of the missing were related to the drug culture of the area, definitely not all of them though.

Very strange but beautiful looking movie with how it is shown in black and white, while being very bright and visually appealing.

I found this pretty mediocre at best. The story wasn’t all that compelling

How can anyone watch trash like this is beyond me.

Is this movie better than the first one no but its still a really movie in its own right bring on next year’s The Bone Temple.

These were great. Even in season 1 they had the same plots and setups as the new movies do. The acting is very high end for 1966, they treat the audience as intelligent adults. Bio warfare, double agents, brainwashing, breakouts, fake breakouts.. The only thing I think they could improve was the sets. Trying to make the same sound-stage look like latin america one episode and austria the next, just doesnt work.
I really appreciate being able to watch them all. Another Home-run series by Desilu studios ( Cheers for Lucille Ball!)

Another shamelessly over hyped movie undeserving of all the praise. This was a 5/10 at best.

I hear the sequel, 27 Dresses Later, is a really good watch.
