I expected this movie to be like a B rated one… and it kinda leans that direction…. but it was actually really good. I really enjoyed it! 3 out of 5 stars.

Rewatched the original last week, this one just now.
just fantastic.

I’m not a fan of Leto (he tries too hard) but maybe the story will carry me through the next film.

Plus we have Flea and Arlo Guthrie. Thanks for pushing this into view. It’s one of those rare films that is meaningful, and contains good sprinkles of humor to boot. Beastie Adam Horowitz does a great job in a lead role.

Well I wasn’t expecting THAT for the first episode. Pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to the rest.

Tomasthedog 2 points 1 month ago.

Agreed! Looking forward to seeing this through. I also thought Teacup was really good as well, but they cancelled it after the first season. Almost makes it difficult to invest in new shows, until there’s a few seasons.

Such a great film. I am glad I finally got to watch it. Despite what people want to say about Bruce, calling him Whiny or whatever. He dealt with a lot of depression, and being someone who has very bad depression myself, so bad infact I’ve tried to take my own life many times. I can understand what he went through. 5 star film all the way!!!!

Doin' It (2025)

Lame ass premise for a even dumber movie! Was 30 minutes of eye rolls, WTF and crickets before finally saying enough! 0/5 stars!

I didn’t realize this movie is 40 years old this year! One of the movies I never get tired of watching like The Green Mile, Terminator, and The Shawshank Redemption.

Good show! I would have liked a different ending… but I think they wanted to make the viewers make sure there was a season 2.

Yeah kind of like life and also a giant nothingburger with ‘Jugeo-Jeebus died for your sins’
all a test plagiarized from ancient myths, a bs story.

that was no where near as bad as everything I’ve been hearing about this project.
the beginning sequence with the family in the car was kinda stupid. the show’s still got potential.

The family in the car gave us a glimpse of Pennywise…the boy had a crooked left eye, just like Pennywise.

Good start to the show and season. Early 2nd episode premiering for Halloween night in 4 days so that should be fun hehe. I can’t wait to see the way they portray the origin story of Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

well the book was based in the 50 and late 70s, and the 2017 movie was based in 89, and the 2018 movie was based in 2016
and according to the director this series is suppose to cover 3 separate decades over the course of 3 seasons based in: 1962, 1935 and 1908
and you can tell this is 1962 cause it says after the opening title scene.
**so i should of said a prequel to the remake movies. i get ya.

Derry is Bangor, Maine and Loring Airforce Base in Limestone (decommissioned) is the base Mr. King is “basing” the location on. hehe Show seems like a nightmarish gore-fest for Halloween, but it ain’t following Stephen’s book.

Actually, it just had no real ending.

jadius 4 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

m8 the whole point of this movie is this is possible. it’s possible that with the nuclear missiles available and in production some rogue country decides to attack a superpower like the us and with how fast technology advances it’s possible for the superpower to not know who fired a single missile at them (multiple missiles easier to identify origin) and then you have a scenario like the one in the film playing out in real life and then you a president like say a Donald trump deciding what happens next

GeminiSaga -4 points 1 month ago.

What a mess. It feels like a rushed B-movie and the cast is wasted on this. Confusing timeline, terrible ending, far-fetched story (as if the US can’t shooting down one ballistic missile), and who was the guy swimming in the beach?

its worth it,because it makes more or less fun about all the “super-spy” series availlable.
The crew consists of layed off B-spys, and its funny to watch how they are guided by the main character
