I saw this film when I was very, very young, but it left such a lasting impression that I still remember it well, 20 years later.
That’s not really a mistake, that’s a crime
Sure, you are right, but he is a criminal.. and at that age, with that slurry speech and without glasses strutting back in the night.. And such fine looking woman, a mistake. He probably get of with a small fine and a ☝️finger shake.
I still wait for that he (The hero) will make the mistake and make love to the horse 😗🥰 when coming back from one of the nightly prostate bladder pee sessions and takes the wrong turn on the way back to the bed with the waiting horse woman.. Think if she then would catch him..😯😳🤬☠️💩🤖 THEN it would be some action and some explaining to do.😆
It is a British spy thriller, so it’s story oriented with a touch of conspiracy, mystery, character development and the obligatory Brit cheeky/sarcastic humor. Although there is enough action here and there to keep your attention. The first 4 seasons blended all that very well, but this season is mostly derivative of the previous ones. It’s lazy, the story is far-fetched and the dialogues uninspired. The only positive aspect is the actors are good enough to make it somewhat watchable.
Hey, Gem, do me a favor, when you have the time..I have not watched this yet, jury has been a bit out, but have been looking for something, and won’t mind the spoilers so if you would hit me and give me a brief on this, let me know what’s good and bad about it? Would appreciate it. A lot of people seem to like it, but I myself have a hard time getting into spy stuff unless it’s it’s a certain kind, though it does not have to be the Jason Bourn kind of stuff either, just don’t want to be bored to tears either.

This season is boring. It should end here.

That just means they did a good job, have not watched yet, but for some reason gravitated to this, so now I have something to look forward to. Thanks for the heads up.
i’m still a little.. f’ed up? anxiety levels with this first episode certainly peaked.. and it definitely doesn’t copy the movies.. there’s a few… nods? you’ll have to let me know what you think? lol
I kept waiting for it to be another version of the movies… it certainly disturbed me, even though yes there was cgi.. the baby thing just got me, maybe I’m becoming a wimp in my old age lol!

OMG, I love the mama, she’s a trip! Funniest part… “You take that!” 🤬
Terrible season compared to the first 4. It should end here.

why are people downvoting on the wish to see a movie? The trailers are great. Springsteen gave his nod to it. Maybe jealous people!
I can;t wait to see it!! Jeremy Allen White is fantastic and The Boss gave his nod to the performance!

Odd. There’s no actors or director listed in the credits on this page. Director is Katherine Bigelow of The Hurt Locker & Zero Dark Thirty & stars Idris Elba & Rebecca Ferguson (who I’ve not heard of before).
This the best movie I have seen in years. 5/5 I was on the edge of my seat and experienced so many emotions. And I know this can happen. Idris Elba was fantastic. The ending was the best. We all know what will happen and this was not a movie to show what happens after. All the acting was great. And the glitches that can happen in communication were all real. I would watch this over and over agin. It is aso a warning to have things in your basement and survival gear.I cannot stress this enough. The percent chance that this will happen, given the current president, has gone up exponentially. People please have water food, solar chargers and blutooth messengers in your phones and laptops, Be ready. You will get abput 20 minutes of warning, if that. have it in place. Have them in the basement . and shelf stable food. You dno;t have tp go nuts. But have water, plastic contractor bags to cover the windows and doors. If all you have is alundry room tub, fill 1 gallon water with it and then have a drain plug to fill it. Candles. Blankets, if a nuclear winter happens, you will be cold. Your medications and documents. Iodine pills are on amazon for like $15 as well as water purifying pills. It is cheap to be prepared.
This show is so bonkers. These 3 guys are the GOATS of Make Some Noise & always bring it w/their impressions.
Another thrilling & well executed season!! Thanks for the links -:)
I’m loving it. It’s very off the wall & quirky. Acting is great. Hope you find some good qualities to enjoy about it.
Why do you think it’s pointless & ridiculous?
Anyone spotted a link that does’nt have the subtitles ? I’m looking forward to watching this one.
I truly miss Charlie, definitely not the same, Hudson & Rex has lost it’s appeal to me. I am not sure i will continue to watch without Charlie. Rex doesn’t even seem to be connected to the new guy.

so what do you bozos think of this so far, I know you’re all dying to share your opinion ;)
Cierra is actually a beautiful woman, she just needs to lose all the piercings. I hope Chris can work everything out with his restaurant, and his relationship, but the relationship should definitely come first. Chris seems like a really great guy, he’s just really down on his luck lately, and he’s a quiet guy. I think Cierra might just have A.D.D, and probably a little bi-polar, that’s why she lashes out at people a lot, and why she was having trouble at the end trying to remember the orders. There’s nothing wrong with tht either, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, there are so many people in the world today that deal with the same thing… my family included. Good luck Chris!, I hope only the best for you!
Based on the book Red Dragon, Manhunter is more subtle than its Hollywood siblings. It’s not Silence of the Lambs, I know. But the world hadn’t quite acquired its taste for psychopaths in 1986 as it did after 1991. And it certainly hadn’t reached the flashy bloodlust that Red Dragon enjoyed in 2002.
What I like about this one is more delicate. We can see it in the colors. While he ultimately belongs to author Thomas Harris, Jonathan Demme and Michael Mann treat their Hannibal Lecters very differently. Demme’s is a snake, head raised and swaying in a richly dark cell. Mann’s is locked in a world without color. Seriously everything, but everything, is white. He’s a psychopathic songbird in a cage, and he’d slit your throat just to see that shade of red.
What I would liked to have seen in Manhunter (that was pulled off well in Red Dragon) is to see Francis Dolarhyde depicted in a world of darkness, opposite to Lecter’s lights that he can never turn off.
It’s a privilege to see characters as nuanced and well-fleshed as Harris’ handled by two excellent directors. It’s almost like drawing the nude, every good art student should have a crack at it. It’s fundamental.
Now…. here’s the game. Two prolific character actors are in both Manhunter and Silence of the Lambs. Two. Now…if you can point them out without resorting to IMDB I’ll give you a cookie.
Well I don’t get a cookie cuz I can’t find out who was in both films! Do tell lol

thanks for the suggestion! and yes I’ve been arguing with myself whether to watch it and ultimately choose red dragon. might just give it a watch, i’m in a halloween mood so why not? Lol
wow! I Must say this was an INCREIDBLE MOVIE! I usually hate horror movies, i often avoid them and psychological/suspense movies like the plague but this was actually a really good film. Honestly its not “too violent” and compared to Hannibal its actually quite tame and less graphic then that or silence. I highly recommend this if you like horror and like this genre of movies. Edward norton, harvey keitel, ralph fiennes and emily watson and philip seymour hoffman and mary louise parker its an incredible cast along with sir anthony hopkins. do enjoy and happy halloween! PS: The fact this was directed by Brett ratner of money talks, the rush hour films and X-men last stand, is also quite impressive in it of itself

Wow, Justin is a total b*tch, I can’t believe the way she talks to her mother. If I talked to my mother that way, I would have gotten whatever was closest to her thrown at me. I’m 47 years old, and she’d still give me a backhand if I gave her that tone and attitude. She needs to grow up, I think that gastric bypass weight loss went strait to her head. It’s crazy that she actually thinks it’s everyone else that has the bad attitude, and not herself..Wow! Youth today is to darn coddled, they think that the whole world should be given to them on a silver platter, and without having to put any of the work in themselves. What a shame, and you just know that she’s not gonna change.
