Three episodes in and I’m already rooting for the extraterrestrials.

Never did I think as a kid watching Star Trek (back in the late 60’s), that someday there would be so many different story lines. Yes, I was lucky to be a grade school kid in the 1960’s and watched every new episode (the new tv season started in September)each week until the end of the season (which was May). Then I got to watch it again in the summer months as a re-run. I never got tired of seeing ST and with so many new spin-offs now, I won’t get tired anytime soon of seeing one Star Trek episode after another! Live long and prosper.

Didn’t anyone else notice that the first episode was like The Dick Van Dyke show with the same set etc and had a little I Love Lucy thrown in? The second was Bewitched and Pleasantville when the colors starting showing.

I like, it got my science fiction noodle going. It’s quite original, there seems to be baddies and goodies on both sides - I think I have figured out a couple of the plot items that haven’t been revealed yet, I will not spoil… I am hoping for me to be wrong about these and for the plot to take a few twists - roll on next week…
(Nutflux has us all spoiled releasing all episodes at once I says!)

Makes you wonder why this movie wasn’t a smash hit, but it has become a clasic RIP Mr Candy gone way too soon 10-10

Hollywoods desire to milk the hell out of every franchise, this movie was very subpar and did not need to be made.

I don’t say it often enough but thank you to those who keep Primewire going. It’s a treasure trove of films that fire up and route the memory circuits to long forgotten pleasures, and in this particular case, my childhood love of The Rescuers! 78 minutes of truly great animation, narrative and songs that went by in a flash, from a time when a Disney film was worthy of its name.

Ever met a young girl who told you her dream when she grows up is to have sex with ugly men older than her father for money? Does that help you understand the “general attitude of disgust”?

Spectacular storytelling. I’m all in.

I was VERY skeptical of this show due to the fact that it is a SyFy show and we all know what happens when SyFy has their hands on a new series. However, after watching one episode, I was absolutely hooked. Plus, it has Alan Tudyk in it who stars as Harry (the alien) and he absolutely nails the role! This show is absolutely hilarious and the writing is actually good! I really hope this series is watched by enough viewers to greenlit a second season! Anyways, give the first episode a chance and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how good this show is. The CGI effects is pretty good for a low budget show like this.

Cast was all wonderful, end was great. Grim but funny, even if it is depressingly accurate.
