Working on a classified Army experiment to decipher a bizarre alien device codenamed “Janus”, scientists Aleksey “Alex” Dobrev and his wife and colleague Ghislaine Beal are caught in a collision between ruthless emissary Paul Gennaro - dispatched by his employers with two cronies to obtain Janus at any cost - and Major Neal Monday, the officer overseeing the project, accompanied by two MPs.
