Details:

A university in India exists to foster women from around the world. By providing affordable education, poor girls have the opportunity to learn. India has the third largest higher education system in the world, enrolling over 25 million students from across the globe. Ayebore Naome from Uganda is one of those students. Through higher education, Naome is empowered to believe she can overcome her poverty-stricken background. She is intelligent, a diligent worker, and just like any college student, an adolescent. Rather than feel disadvantaged by her hard upbringing, Naome uses it as fuel — she wishes to return home and care for her family as an accomplished business-woman. Her story is empowering and real. Despite all her losses, Naome still keeps one human emotion we can all take a lesson in — compassion.
