In 1986 April, in Druskininkai, a resort town in southern Lithuania, Aldona became blind and lost her vision. Doctors claimed that it probably happened due to Chernobyl’s Nuclear Power Plant explosion. The nerves of her eyes were poisoned. In the film Aldona walks through the Grutas Park, sculpture garden of Soviet era statues from the times of the Lithuanian USSR. |
