Jason is an aspiring screenwriter who leaves his home in the South for a low-key life in Los Angeles. His work with a troubled youth, Alejandra, and the challenges of his college-bound little sister, Maya, motivates him to analyze the complacency in the loves of those around him in hopes of provoking change. But, with his own career plans not falling into place, has he fallen into the same trap as his friends and loved ones? |
