Details:

At the age of 12, Gene DiNovi started taking piano lessons. At age 15 he was playing onstage with Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker on 52nd Street in NYC. He soon became one of the great Bebop pianists of the jazz scene in New York City in the 1950’s. This is the story of his career.
