Daniel (Daniel Stolfi), a deceptively healthy looking 25 year old, sits in the doctor;s office for a consultation only one day before his treatment begins. In passing, the doctor mentions that the chemotherapy has a chance of making him sterile. With no time to lose. Daniel makes an appointment with a fertility clinic to save his ‘baby makers’. Upon arrival, Daniel uncomfortably encounters hopeful couples, an obnoxiously friendly receptionist and the clinic’s large and sweaty regular donor. Daniel has to focus on getting the job done while trying to ignore the awkward setting, the importance of a successful deposit, and the fact that his parents are waiting for him in the parking lot. Based on true story and adapted from a one man stage performance. |
