LIFELINES is a procedural drama, a supernatural mystery, and an irreverent comedy, all rolled into one unique television series. Lifelines follows Chicago Paramedic Reggie Timmons and his diverse group of co-workers, as they do their best to handle every surreal and harrowing emergency the city has to offer. The series also tells the tale of Reggie’s mysterious affliction, one that causes him to blink out of existence and travel to different moments in his past. This strange disorder also brings unexpected visits from alternate versions of Reggie. It’s an affliction which will force Reggie to witness the many possible directions his life can go. In the process, he will stumble upon a support group that deals with these sorts of strange, and existential maladies. While Reggie learns more about himself and his new situation, he will also be trying to keep his corroding family unit intact. He’ll have his hands full, as he deals with a father who has pugilistic dementia and his own dark secrets, a distant brother with a promising boxing career and sexual-identity issues, and a dead mother who holds the secrets to his strange illness, and perhaps his destiny. All of this while navigating scheming co-workers, love triangles, and extra-dimensional baby-mama drama.
