This is the story of Beverly Beesemyer, a World War II Pilot in the Women Airforce Service Pilots known as the WASPs. The WASPs flew over 60 million miles in every type of military aircraft. They were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2009 almost 65 years after their service.
