Twigs (2013) is a short film that depicts the last day in the life of a young woman. Being in a state of mourning and melancholia after her sister’s death, she goes back to the house where they spent their childhood. Combining feminist film theory, psychoanalysis, and Gilles Deleuze’s theory of time images, the film presents an array of mental states such as memories, hallucinations, and daydreams. |
