When Dr. Vlad Essex finds out his wife is dying due to an illness that causes her cells to degenerate rapidly, he quickly looks for a cure. The priest warns him that no one can stop fate, but the doctor remains steadfast. After finding the cure and almost being killed by a debt collector, Dr Essex takes the cure in order to save his own life. But when he finds out that he is too late to save his wife, he notices that the Grim Reaper is now following him. Now over 130 years old, Dr Essex is still being haunted by fate and the memory of his wife. |
