Two people meet in South East London. She is an immigrant in her late 40s, he is an English guy in his 20s. The characters are anonymous. Like many in the modern city they look for connection in each other, yet they are aware that touch can be painful. Their lives, like the images in the film, are fragmented, but this dark quality of life can be mixed with tenderness and good humour. The film captures this brief moment of affection, fleeting as it is. |
