Alan Kensington goes missing in action in the midst of World War Two prior to the evacuation of Dunkirk, when his brother Charlie enlists in an attempt to find him using letters and drawings Alan has sent during his time a war. Charlie, originally exempt from conscription due to fatal a heart condition, manages to enlist in the military after D-day in pursuit of his own desire to find his brother. |
