Details:

In 1944, the troopship SS Leopoldville steamed toward France from England with 2,235 Allied soldiers on board when a torpedo ripped into the side of the ship. No quick rescue takes place and an additional 400 soldiers perish. Now, 60 years later, with the help of the latest dive technology, NGC braves some of the English Channel’s most treacherous and dangerous waters to reach the wreck of the SS Leopoldville and help answer the question: Why did so many young men have to die?
