Billy Kuckuck lands right in the boxer milieu with her new enforcement order: The former world champion Kai Burdenski is in debt up to his ears and can neither pay rent nor electricity for his boxing school. This is tragic not least because he trains teenagers from youth welfare, for whom his run-down hall has become a home. In particular, the young, talented asylum seeker Samy, who lost her family while fleeing Afghanistan, has taken Burdenski under his wing. It doesn’t take long for Billy to understand that the “champion” is more than just a coach for Samy and the other youngsters. An enforcement against Burdenski would deprive the young people of this refuge. Therefore, Billy looks for ways and means to help the boxing legend back on his feet and turns to his daughter Jessica. But she only saw her father from his worst sides at the height of her success and doesn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. She distrusts him so much that she even kept his grandson from him. Billy is no stranger to complicated family situations: her own daughter Hannah, with the help of grandma Christel, is hiding a 5 in maths from her - and that as a preliminary grade to the Abitur. Ex-husband Gunnar and stalker neighbor Holger are a help for Billy this time, as they both provide decisive assistance in the fight for Burdenski’s boxing school. The biggest problem for Billy is getting the champion to accept her help in the first place. Because he is not only proud, but above all stubbornly and firmly convinced that he has to “box” himself out of his misery. For a supposedly saving show fight, Burdenski is even ready to risk his life after he actually quit because of an earlier injury. Billy not only fights against time, he literally fights for life and death. Will she be able to decide the fight against his will for him?
