Details:

Our story beings with a shero (heroine) peering out over the city. From her narration, we learn of her discontent with the city that she has been serving for long enough that she feels responsible for its prosperity but also for its apparent reckless outlook. As a quick aside of the main character’s narration, we meet Linda Oakley-Brown, a blogger and voice of the aforementioned city who both praises and conversely bashes the shero’s integrity within the city. Later, we find out the Linda has been murdered and the only incriminating piece of evidence that has been left on the scene is Linda’s cell phone, which contains a video of the murder taking place. As a detective surveys the crime scene the next night, he is joined by the heroine who attempts to apprehend the cellular device but is stopped by the detective. That night, as the detective leaves the building of the murder, the shero stands atop a building and discards her mask revealing a persona that matches that of the killer in the video. The detective eyes the phone in his hand as the shero atop wields a knife that matches the description given of the victim’s wounds. She leaps to the ground.
