However, as a new generation of rural children look to shape tomorrow’s India - in Kashmir and Chhattisgarh, they are locked in daunting crucibles of political strife. In the firing line from both sides of the conflict, government schools in these states have everything to lose; but highlighting the way forward are a few girls who show how much people value government schooling. |
