This is about a B-24 Bomber and a great American general who were forgotten when the bomber he was in crashed into a mountain in Iceland in World War II. The bomber called HOT STUFF was the first to complete 25 missions ( 3 months before the famed B-17 Memphis Belle)and was retuning to the U.S to tour the country and help sell war bonds. Gen. Andrews was Commander of European Theater of operations and had been select of be Supreme Allied Commander but was killed before he receive word. Gen. Eisenhower was given the job nine months later.
