A man awakens in a hospital that is all white and rather insidious. The only information he has to go off of how he got there is a hospital band that reads, “E-103”. Before he has a chance to gain composure two people walk in, a Nurse and a Doctor. The Doctor takes notes as the caring and yet suspicious nurse tries to give E-103 some pills and water. Just as he is about to take them he notices the Nurse, motioning not to take them and the Doctor watching him insidiously. So he tosses the water at the Doctor which burns him, and tries to jump out of bed. He falls but is helped up by the Nurse as the rush out of the room. They go flying down a hall looking for an exit with the Doctor close behind. They reach a door and burst through it, but instead of leading them out they appear in a Zoetrope. Confused about how they got there they look for an exit. They see a door through the Zoetrope, so they go flying towards the exit, but yet again are transported to a different room. This continues as E-103 gains more strength through each room. They go through Silent Film, FIlm Noir, Western, Experimental, and the climax in Horror. It is a journey through film, but also a journey through the filmmaking process as well as a tale about one man’s healing process.
