‘The Pond’ explores the relationship between Maisie, Tom and Joe, three children who regularly visit a pond in the village on their way home from school. For Maisie, the Pond is a place to escape her troubled home life and explore her strengthening allure to the boys, it is the place where she holds all the power over them.
