A sleepy vagrant is galvanized by electric shock. A tramp, sleeping on the pavement, is moved on by a policeman. Taking refuge in a wooden crate, he is deposited in a dustcart and tipped out into a rubbish dump. Resuming his promenade, he encounters an electrician at work on a power cable, who administers an electric shock. The tramp, galvanized by the electricity, leaps along the street, transferring the charge to a variety of pedestrians he encounters - a cleaner, woman, basket carrier etc. He climbs on top of a cab and finally jumps in the river to emerge discharged |
