It is the 1st Historic Landmark District in Pasadena, as well as the United States of America. But how did it get its name? How did it become a Landmark District? And why are people trying to buy a house in this neighborhood? Resident filmmaker, Joaquin Montalvan’s feature length documentary takes you through the neighborhood, inside the houses, hears from the residents, and reveals the hard fought struggle that took place to preserve this piece of our past.
