Emily has no children or relatives and spends her days in secluded isolation walking in the woods near her home with only the memories of her husband Thomas for company. Emily’s world is shaken when she receives a letter from Judith, who claims that Thomas was her father, and now she needs Emily’s help in finding a suitable bone marrow match for her young son, William. Emily cannot deal with this revelation about her husband and tries to ignore the whole situation. Despite her feelings she cannot bring herself to throw the letters away. |
