A little girl, the daughter of a woodsman, is molested and insulted by two well-dressed children. Forgetting this, she tries to rescue the children when they are later kidnapped by her father and held for ransom in a cave. Her father ties Ellen In a bag and hangs it to the branch of a tree while he again captures the two children and brings them back to the cave. In the meantime Ellen manages to escape and runs to the house of the kidnapped children and informs the parents, who set out with officers and rescue the children. The kidnapper fires a shot which wounds Ellen and he is arrested and Ellen is brought to the home of the rich parents and cared for and adopted by them. |
