Details:

The narrator at Camp Lejeune presents historical photographs and video of graduates of the Montford Point Marine segregated training camp in North Carolina that was located there. These African-American Marines, the first since the War of Independence, tell their own stories and those of their comrades, along with the history of the camp and their experience of the three wars in which they fought: World War II, the Korean War, and the war in Vietnam. Photographs and video of African-American Marines in those wars are woven into the stories told and narrated.
