John is a scientist with his mind on astrophysics and his eyes on the stars. His wife Cynthia lives a life of quiet neglect. John’s sister Terry arrives on a visit, determined to break through John’s shell. By turns funny and sad, the story culminates in a wistful scene between the two women, who can never seem to get what they want from the elusive John. |
