Levi, a slave considered to be a very valuable asset during his time, is chained and sold, being taken away from his wife and children to his new home on a new plantation. His new master, Quincy Jackson, plan is to use Levi as a stud to make plenty of babies. Levi is give his new master’s last name and forced into adultery. Generations later, a descendant of Levi, Alex Jackson, a married man with children finds himself living in a few situations that causes him to realize that the only difference between him and his ancestor is that Levi was forced to do what he is willing to do. |
