Corporal Ayrshire is a wounded veteran waiting to catch the last bus home from a distant battle. Down the road on the flat Texas prairie, #34 is a young cow confined to his pasture and dwarfed by the bigger members of his herd. Every day he climbs the summit of a dusty pile to see over them, and to wonder about what lies Over The Horizon… A sense of wonder our returning veteran may once have shared, but does no more. Over The Horizon uses these two characters to explore the power of horizons and what they imply in our way of perceiving the world.
