Joe is a 19 year old university student who has never had a girlfriend or been in any kind of romantic relationship. Feeling suffocated by the relentless pushing of relationships by the media, Joe agrees to a plan devised by his best friend Pete to kidnap Cassie, a girl he has a crush on, in an attempt to find out just why girls aren’t attracted to him. Things become complicated however, when Cassie’s friend Emily becomes involved and Joe finds himself questioning how far he will go to get what he wants.
