He is a typical representative of our generation. Discontent, aimless, full. His room is a self-made cell of isolation, the computer the only being he is dealing with. His desire to understand the world leads to stagnation. When the internet dies one day he is forced to confront his paralysing apathy. So he founds out that his roommate Simon does not have much longer to live and the awareness that stagnancy also has consequences shakes up his consciousness.
